To reduce household waste, you should reduce and divert food scraps! Investing in a good waste disposer is smart as the waste gets ground and is flushed down the sewage system.   

• Carry your own bag, bottle, and cutlery

Carrying these can help reduce a lot of paper and plastic waste. These seemingly small acts make big impacts.

Reuse

Swap paper towels and tissues with handkerchiefs, washcloths, cloth napkins, towels, or cleaning rags when cleaning your house. Toss them in the laundry and reuse them.

Recycle

• The environment benefits (in several ways) when old things are transformed into something new.
• There is no waste of materials or natural resources.
• It also means less trash ends up in landfills.
• Further, it benefits wildlife as well.
