Here's the right way to use a food waste disposer

Food waste disposer, the magic appliance that disappears food waste.

Here’s how to use it:

Step 1

Run some cold water.

Step 2

Turn on the food waste disposer by pressing the air switch or the wall switch.

Step 3

Slowly feed the food scraps into your food waste disposer while pushing it down the baffle with the water still running.

Step 4

When you’re done feeding in food scraps, leave the cold water running for another 10 seconds.

Step 5 

Now turn off the tap and food waste disposer, and enjoy your clean kitchen.
